Checking Clinic
Registration is now open for the 2026 CYHA Checking Clinic. Once again, 4Check Hockey will be putting this on for us an effort to teach the athletes how to prevent injury with both giving and receiving physical contact as well as proper mechanics when using the body.
Session Info
We will have two sessions for this clinic: one for girls players (U12 and older) and one for Bantam-eligible players for the 2026-27 season.
When
Tuesday, August 25
Session 1: Girls
Video Session: 4-5pm
On-ice Training: 5-7pm
Session 2: Bantams
Video Session: 7:15-8:15pm
On-ice Training: 8:20-10:20pm
Where
On-Ice: Super Rink 5
Video Session: Gold Room at Super Rink
Cost
$20 per athlete
Goalies
Goalies will not get formal training during this but if you’re looking to get a bunch of shots, please e-mail vphockey@centennialhockey.org.
Coaching Help
We're hoping to get a few parents with coaching experience on the ice to facilitate with the 4Check crew. DIBS will be credited for your time. If interested, please e-mail vphockey@centennialhockey.org.
